Rockstar had made a surprise announcement that they are now working with five m and red m teams officially they are basically multiplayer mods that add new vehicles graphics story to game and you can also play and interact with other players people are even playing as a lawyer police gangster and in many different professions and all contains new cars maps basically Fivem is basically biggest competitor of Gta online and even better than Gta online and same redm is for red dead redemption 2 and above these both mods there is cfx.re team to which now Rockstar had bought and obviously why not because it has many lakh player playing even in february 2022 it had 270000 highest online players playing in any online game which is double than total players of gta5 on steam and Rockstar knows that they will not buy anything like this by their own selves because they are working on gta6 and Gta online so they bought it and here you will find hypocrisy of Rockstar because its same Rockstar who was above the modders from many years even it sewed many and modders and cased against them and even in august 2015 it banned three programmers who made this mod by sawing that this is illegal and Rockstar don't supports it and also send private investigators at their houses so that they can pressurize modders to stop five M but Gta community is so strong that they crossed Gta online before after this Rockstar had to update his policy on mods and now five M and red M are officially under Rockstar so basically what will Rockstar do with these in future officially Rockstar stated that they will help modders for development and support them but its real purpose is for gta6 because Rockstar will use them in gta6 basically for more realistic features and we were listening from many years that Gta6 will be a roleplay game and in it we will able able to play as police officer in for that Rockstar will announce a different dlc and for that there is no better team than Five M because they are working on this roleplay server from years and they made this server able to compete Gta online with minimum recourses and five M team knows what Gta community wants that's why Rockstar games acquired cfx team so that they can help in gta6 development or Rockstar can learn from them
